「2006共創好香江」 - 每月願望之星
2006年又到了，古語有云「一年之計在於春」，踏入新的一年，除了忙於學業、工作等的事務，你又有什麼其它計劃呢？
為了配合今年的新主題「攜手同心 齊踏義工路 情牽你我 共創好香江」，推廣義工服務督導委員會在2005年12月推出了一張新的宣傳海報，不單展現我們的義工服務新目標，更帶出我們對義工熱切的願望。觀賞過新海報，你一定會對兩位義工主角的自信與熱誠留下深刻的印象，更會思考著11款別出心裁的襟章所代表的意義。
這11款「2006共創好香江」襟章，代表著我們對義工服務發展的12個願望，委員會邀請每一位義工及準義工朋友在2006年的12個月，以行動攜手實踐這12個願望。 你一定會問為何只得11款襟章，因為2006年1月的願望是不需要用襟章來代表，我們的願望就是正在閱讀這篇文章的「你」，正在服務社會的「你」，深望你會因「承擔義工的理想而感到驕傲」。
「義工運動」網站將會由2006年2月起，推出「每月願望之星」，呼籲社會人士攜手實踐一個願望。 我們會更細緻地介紹襟章所代表的意義與願望，好讓義工能夠從不同角度思考義工服務的意義。

"Volunteering for a better Hong Kong 2006" - Wish of the
Month
Happy New Year! At the good start of 2006, being busily occupied by your study, job...etc., do you have any other meaningful plan to further advance your life this year?
To demonstrate our new promotional theme, "One team One heart One mind - Volunteering for a better Hong Kong" in 2006, a new thematic poster has been widely displayed in our community. Have you ever seen our new poster? If yes, you must deeply value our vision for a better Hong Kong; share the cheer and self-confidence of two volunteer models and also think about the meaning of 11 badges.
These 11 badges carry our 12 wishes in 2006. We ask for the cohesive action of volunteer and potential volunteers to actualize these wishes and build a more better Hong Kong. How can 11 badges represent 12 wishes? That's right because "you" are our first wish in the year. Please be a volunteer and proud to be a volunteer.
Starting from February 2006, the "Volunteer Movement" Website will launch "Wish of the month" to appeal community members joint hand to actualize one wish in a month. We will deliberate more about a wish, and a badge, in every month. You may inspire more about the in-depth meaning of volunteer service.
Welcome you all to visit our website regularly for getting more detailed information. We earnestly invite you to enthusiastically participate in the volunteer activities organized by the Steering Committee on Promotion of Volunteer Service and the Volunteer Movement Participating Organizations in districts.
