Volunteer Training Course for Corporate Volunteer Teams (Pilot)

Objective

This course aims at

Improving the skills and knowledge of trainees in various aspects of volunteer service
Equipping the trainees with knowledge and skills in managing corporate volunteer teams to sustain their devotion in servicing and develop their talents to serve the community.

Target Participants

Leaders or core members of the Corporate Volunteer Team.
Priority will be given to the member corporations of Sub-committee on Promotion of Corporate Volunteering and Volunteer Movement Participating Organizations.

Course Structure

This is a 30-hour training course, including

Other course-related Information

a.	Media of instruction:	Cantonese, supplemented with English.
b.	Seats:	Not more than 40
c.	Class Venue	Training centre of the organizers in Central or Sheung Wan District.
d.	Assessment:	Minimum 75% attendance Completion of practicum
e.	Award of Certificate:	The organizers and co-organizer will jointly issue a certificate to those fulfilled the assessment requirements.
f.	Fee	$2 300 (Being a pilot training, the accommodation of overnight training is sponsored by Jardines Matheson Group)
g.	Deliverable	Resource kit on volunteer service will be distributed to participant
h.	Post-course service	The organizers will provide post-course consultation and arrange a reunion of participants at appropriate time.
