香港傑出青年義工計劃
Hong Kong Outstanding Youth Volunteers Scheme
為表揚青年義工對社會的承擔和貢獻，社會福利署推廣義工服務督導委員會每年從各推薦機構中選拔積極投入義務工作的香港青年義工，安排他們參與本港義工服務的推廣工作，並與其他地區的義工交流義工經驗。自2001年起，督導委員會透過交流計劃，選出『香港傑出青年義工』，有關計劃於2004年易名為『香港傑出青年義工計劃』，以更全面的方向推廣及鼓勵青年人參與義工服務。
歷屆『香港傑出青年義工』不單繼續參與義工服務，並於2004年11月成立『香港傑出青年義工協會』，協助推動學生及青年投入義工行列。
The "Hong Kong Outstanding Youth Volunteers Scheme" aims at recognizing the contribution of outstanding youth volunteers and expanding their horizon. Every year, the Steering Committee on Promotion of Volunteer Service selected a group of outstanding and committed youth volunteers from the nominations, and invited them to assist in the territory-wide promotion on youth volunteering. The programme was renamed as "Hong Kong Outstanding Youth Volunteers Scheme" in 2004 to more accurately reflect its mission in promotion of student and youth volunteering.
The awarded outstanding youth volunteers formed "Hong Kong Outstanding Youth Volunteers' Association" in Nov 2004 with the aim to encourage more youths to join volunteering.
