The kick-off ceremony of "V-are one" Wing Hang Youth Community Service Project 2008 was smoothly held in the Reception Hall of Wing Hang Bank Building on 8.4.2008. The ceremony was officiated by Mr. FUNG Pak-yan, Deputy Director of Social Welfare (Services); Mr. LEE Kam-chung, Convener of the Sub-committee on Promotion of Student and Youth Volunteering;  Mr. Patrick Y.B. FUNG, Chairman & Chief Executive, and Mr. Micheal Y.S. FUNG, Executive Director & Senior General Manager of Wing Hang Bank.  Over 60 guests from social welfare organizations, educational institutes, commercial sectors, and Hong Kong Outstanding Youth Volunteers’Association attended and witnessed the launching of this project.  Three organizations were invited to share their sponsored projects on their achievements, demonstrating how the projects successfully promote youth volunteering in Hong Kong.
