2002 Volunteer Service Record - Certificate Award Status

The Secretariat would like to thank for the contribution of about 330 Volunteer Movement Participating Organizations in which we have received the completed reports on 2002 Volunteer Service Record and/ or nomination for Volunteer Certificate.  The full list of these organizations in accordance with the VM assigned number is attached.  For the organization already submitted the report, please check whether the name of your organization be included in the list and take note of the progress (as specified in "Remark" column).  If there are any irregularities, please re-send your reports to us (covs1@swd.gov.hk) again, as we may not yet received, on or before 2.6.2003.  Otherwise, we could not prepare the Volunteer Certificates for your volunteer by June 2003.

Remarks:

1	refers to the 2002 Volunteer Certificates of the organization (nominated for individual and group certificate) be included in the 1st batch of the exercise and already be notified to collect the Certificates
1&G	refers to the 2002 Volunteer Certificates of the organization (nominated for group certificate only) be included in the 1st batch of the exercise and already be notified to collect the Certificates
2	refers to the 2002 Volunteer Certificates of the organization (nominated for individual and group certificate) be included in the 2nd batch of the exercise which target to be completed by mid-June 2003
2&G	refers to the 2002 Volunteer Certificates of the organization (nominated for group certificate only) be included in the 2nd batch of the exercise which target to be completed by mid-June 2003
3	refers to the 2002 Volunteer Certificates of the organization (nominated for individual and group certificate) be included in the 3rd batch of the exercise which target to be completed by the end of June 2003
3&G	refers to the 2002 Volunteer Certificates of the organization (nominated for group certificate only) be included in the 3rd batch of the exercise which target to be completed by the end of June 2003
A	refers to the organization having reported the volunteer service record in 2002 but not nominated for Volunteer Certificate

Please be reminded that the exercise of 2002 Volunteer Certificate will be completed by 30.9.2003.  All requests for amendment to the 2002 Volunteer Certificate issued should be reached the Secretariat (attn: Miss Sharon HO) one month before the closure of exercise by fax (2572 5060) or e-mail (covs1@swd.gov.hk).

Taking this opportunity, the Steering Committee would like to appeal all Volunteer Movement Participating Organizations to report the 2002 volunteer service hours (form could be download here) so as to facilitate the public¡¦s awareness of the contribution of volunteer and encourage more Hong Kong people to join volunteering.
