Part1周婆婆
Part 1

現年82歲的周六妹婆婆一個人獨居，有一邊耳朵聽覺不靈光。她和義工馮慧珍已有五年接觸。馮慧珍是公司中老人支援義工服務隊的成員之一，每個多兩個月就會定期探訪周婆婆。
對於有義工定期探訪她，周婆婆難掩喜悅之情。她說 「有人探，有計傾，無咁悶�部I我好高興。有時，佢又會帶我出去行下，去下旅行，有人伴著出外，方便很多，我都好鍾意！」
然而有時義工們都有工作在身，原來一個電話亦是關懷的表現。周婆婆更說：「禮物則免，只要一句問候，不要親自來，問候一下，我也很滿足 !」「有時天氣熱，我會主動叫佢地(義工)唔好來探我。用電話問候一下，我都好開心！」
與周婆婆邊談邊聽到她的笑聲，就知她多歡喜義工朋友的接觸。其實，我們除了在義工服務可表現關懷外，日常生活中，當我們面對鄰居，左鄰右里，甚至親友，也可多問候。你一句喧寒問暖，已足令他們樂透半天。就讓義工精神在日常生活中發揮 !


Part 2潘公公

患有眼疾的潘七公公亦是獨居，前年經老人中心的介紹認識了來自公司老人支持網絡義工隊的溫志偉。溫志偉定期探訪潘七公公。潘公公說：「有時候佢要出差到廣州，好忙�謘A但係都打電話俾我！有佢打電話來傾�鵅A真係無咁悶，你知啦一個人住始終無咁熱鬧，靜焗�齱C」
傾談下去，潘七公公對義工有一番見解。他說：「做義工的都好有心服務，但是要維持有恆心就不易啦！」他回憶說：「幾年前有幾個後生仔�薛瓻峊衋陘漜M潔家居，做得唔錯。但到第二，第三次時就無咁有心機！ 」「要維持熱心，盡力而為先至係義工精神 !」
潘七公公說得很有意思呢 !各位義工朋友要記緊啦 ! 

Part 1

82-year-old Madam CHOW Luk-mui is a singleton elderly with hearing impaired.  She has been in contact with Miss FUNG Wai-chun, who is a volunteer from one of the corporations in Hong Kong, for over five years.  Miss FUNG, together with her volunteer team for the elderly, pays regular visit to Madam CHOW in one to two months' interval.   
Madam CHOW is happy to have volunteers pay regular visit to her.  She said, "it's great to have someone visit you as you can chit and chat with them.  I feel so pleased to have someone around.  Sometimes, they even bring me out to places that I have never been to.  With their accompanies, I find it much convenient to explore the outside world.  I really like it!"
However, at times, the volunteer may be engaged by their work.  A phone call will do!  Madam CHOW said, "Just a little greet on the phone will do!  There is no need to bring me gift."  "You know, sometimes it is too hot for the volunteers to come and visit me.  I will tell them that it is not necessary for them to visit me in person.  They can ring me up and have a chat!  I am of the same happy!"  
If you are on the phone with Madam CHOW, I am sure you can share her joyfulness by hearing to her delighted voices.  In fact, we can always make the elderly around us happy!  No matter, he or she is your close relatives, friends, neighbours or someone you don't know, just say greetings to them.  Your words will bring them care and warmth.  Let's begin volunteering in your daily life!


Part 2

Mr POON Chat is another singleton elderly with visual impairment.  He meets Mr Wan, the volunteer from a social networking team of a local corporation, through the matching service organized by a nearby elderly center.  Mr. Wan makes regular visits to Mr POON.  
Mr POON said, "He even rings me up when he is out of town for a business trip in Guangzhou.  He is busy, but he still finds the time to call me.  I feel very happy to chat with him as I am no more lonely."
As you develop your conversation with Mr POON, he keeps on sharing his views on volunteers.  "Being a volunteer, you do not only have a heart to serve, but also have to upkeep your spirit and constancy!"  "I remembered that there were several young people coming to my house and helping me to clean up.  At first, they did the clean up very well with details.  Later, I found them not able to upkeep the constancy.  Finally, they did not come any more.  I think, it's important for a volunteer to upkeep their constancy and the most important is that your service should be initiated by your heart!"
What a meaningful conversation with Mr POON!  Let's remember it and devote yourself to be a volunteer with your heart to serve!
